Sherree Unwin
Behavioural Support Practitioner
I have over four years of experience in the healthcare industry, working as an administrative assistant and ward clerk, where I have supported numerous healthcare professionals. In my role as an Oncology Ward Clerk, I have handled a wide range of administrative tasks with confidentiality and professionalism.
My extensive experience in oncology has fueled my passion for becoming a counsellor, as I find great fulfillment in supporting those around me. To pursue this dream, I am currently enrolled at the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.
Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my family and have a keen interest in renovating, music, and cooking. I have been playing musical instruments since a young age and am currently planning renovations for our Victorian house.
Navigating life with unique challenges often requires specialised support. Mental therapy and counselling are crucial in providing NDIS participants with the tools and strategies needed to manage emotions, build resilience, and foster a positive outlook on life.
