His unwavering commitment to youth, adolescents, and the broader community is grounded in a passion for continuous learning and a diverse range of both professional and volunteer experiences. This dedication has been demonstrated through his impactful work reengaging young people in education and fostering their emotional development. King-Wei’s holistic and person-centered approach has proven effective in helping young individuals overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their potential.
As a Therapy Assistant, King-Wei brings a wealth of skills and experiences from his extensive background in educational and mental health settings. His ability to build strong rapport with clients allows him to approach each situation with empathy and understanding. He is known for his creative problem-solving skills, which enable him to find innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of each individual. King-Wei is passionate about using his role to provide well-rounded support, drawing on his wide-ranging expertise to positively impact the lives of those he works with.
Outside of his professional life, King-Wei’s love for music and musical instruments enriches his personal and community engagements. He is an active member of a Big Band, where he plays the trombone, and has showcased his musical talents in numerous performances, including the beloved Carols by Candlelight events for the Manningham and the City of Greater Geelong. His involvement in music not only reflects his creativity but also his dedication to bringing joy and connection to the community.
