Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Children and Adolescents
Hello, I’m Laura. As a qualified and Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner and Counsellor, I find immense joy in supporting and helping others. My passion lies in making people feel heard, valued, and seen—because I know firsthand how isolating it can feel when it seems like no one is there for you. My mission in life is to be the light and hope I once wished for, offering compassion and understanding to those who need it most.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Children and Adolescents, and a Bachelor of Psychological Science. My education has deepened my understanding of mental health and strengthened my ability to provide meaningful support to individuals facing complex challenges.
I live with my incredible husband and daughter, who mean the world to me (and then some!). When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me with a coffee in hand—I’m completely addicted and proud of it! I also love running and have set a personal goal to complete a marathon in under four hours. One day, I hope to write a self-help book that blends my passion for coffee and helping others into something meaningful and inspiring.
For me, success isn’t measured in numbers or achievements but in the moments when I make someone smile or feel truly supported. If I can do that even once in a day, then I know I’ve spent my time well.
