Taryn Sibson is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in nursing, and counselling. She is a qualified registered nurse with a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Deakin University. Taryn is also a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association; she works as a generalist counsellor; however, she specialises in those affected by cancer and neurodivergent individuals.

Over two decades of experience, Taryn has significantly contributed to clinical nursing and counselling roles. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Cancer Council Victoria, she has provided compassionate support and valuable resources to individuals and families navigating the complexities of cancer diagnosis and treatment. Her work includes facilitating access to essential services through initiatives like the ACCESS program, ensuring equitable care across Victoria.

Taryn’s professional journey is marked by continuous learning and development, including ongoing studies to enhance further her ability to deliver comprehensive and empathetic care.

Her holistic approach integrates clinical proficiency with a profound understanding of her client’s emotional and practical needs. Taryn’s dedication to advocacy and person-centred care continues to drive her impactful contributions.
